OpenUMR is an Open Source project started on http://www.openumr.org. OpenUMR offers the capability to integrate agentless all kinds of monitoring solutions into Operations Manager 2007 R2 in a very easy way. A cross-platform script interface gives the flexibility to discover monitoring objects and to send event/performance data from Non-Windows environments. So you are able to use a wide range of existing Monitoring Scripts i. e. from http://www.monitoringexchange.org or Monitoring Solutions like NAGIOS or OPENNMS for the Unix/Linux platform and to integrate them into your OpsMgr 2007 R2 environment rapidly. Another interesting aspect is that your able to extend this little lightweight framework so that it fits your needs.
