how to find projects and plugins
From Wiki
Find monitoring plugins
Plugins are monitoring best practices for a specific service or device that can be added to a monitoring engine. There are thousands out there. We’ve collected over 1900 that are open source licensed to start MonitoringForge with, and available for you to better monitor your IT environment.
To find these plugins – you can go to the plugin section and enter the object name you’d like to monitor in the search box. You can also drill down by category.
Can’t find the plugin? Help us in one of two ways.
1. You can request the needed plugin so the community can respond by leaving a message in our feedback forum.
2. If you know there is this plugin that’s available somewhere else – let us know, and we’ll post it on the site. Email us at community@monitoringforge.org
Find monitoring projects
Projects are any open source monitoring tools or network management applications that IT teams can use to make their job easier. We feel that it’s important to have the latest and greatest solutions offered side-by-side. This gives you the user a quick glimpse of what’s available, what other users think of the tools and the opportunity to meet the community behind each project.
To find these projects – visit the project section and enter in the project name or type in the search box. You can also browse by category.
Can’t find the project and know it exists elsewhere? You can help us by letting us know you’d like a project ported over to the site. Email us at community@monitoringforge.org
